Police Clearance Certificate hardcopy FBI USA

To apply for police clearance certificate from FBI, I plan to use the online option, which is supposed to be quicker to process. In the FBI online form there is a question "Would you like to have a hard-copy response mailed to you?". Have the following questions:
1. If I choose yes, then will I still get the electronic result in addition to the hardcopy?
2. Is there an extra cost to get the hardcopy (not filled the form completely so just checking)?

Thank you. I need to get fingerprint certificate for both me and my spouse. Is it OK if I can just send fingerprint cards for both on one envelope to FBI?
