Hello,
I wonder how long are the police certification good to apply for sponsorship ... does they expire? in 6 month or so?
And when is a good time to get this certification after I have all paperwork and medical done? How long can it take to get one from Australia and New Zealand? And what type do I have to order?

How does it work? does anyone have an internet page where I can get them?
And what are your experience?
Do they need fingerprints?
How much is it?

THANKS a lot!
Julia :)

And how fast is it to do the medical tests? or is there a problem to get appointment with the doctors?

They have a 3 month validity. It is best to make it and the medical (valid for 12 months)the last steps as they do expire.

I do not know how long it takes to get the criminal record from either place. I am sure others do and will reply!! I think most require finger prints and are straight forward.

There is a list of doctors that are affiliated with CIC on their website.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/dmp-md/medical.aspx this link will help you find on in your area.

Prices vary from office to office, as well as it being by appointment or on a walk in basis.

Take Care

Hi

Go here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/index.asp

NZ is free. You send CIC a consent form with your PR app and they apply for the PCC on your behalf.

Australia is $42 AUD. You apply online, usually takes around a month to get it.

No fingerprints for either of them.
