Police certification - BLS new agency?

Is BLS India Canada authorized agency to get Police certificate ? I never heard of it. I am trying form couple of days and their website is down, could not access it , is their any other way to get police certificate for PR ?
Also is there specific time to apply for PR under CEC (like at the beginning of the year so that they get new quota or its a good idea to apply whenever documents are ready ?

You don't need an agency to obtain a police certificate. Just follow the instructions here:

Thanks, but I could not see info about getting police certificate on iIndian consulate web site, can you please share the link.
I am not sure whther Indian embassy does it on their own or outsource from BLS, like there used to be VFS. please let me know.

Yes You cannot Go to Indian Consulate Directly They have outsourced their services TO BLS you need to apply through them to get your PCC.

BlS is new..same process as VFS..we got ours in 4 days from vfs last year
