Police Certificates

Just wondering if police clearance cerificates are valid for 3 months or 1 year from the date of issue. It's confusing because documents check list says 1 year and instruction guide says 3 months.

You must send your application within 3 months of it being issued. Generally, they consider the certificates valid for 1 year - so if they don't finish clearing your criminal record screening after 1 year of the certificates being issued, they may ask you to obtain another police certificate. This is not very common.
