Police Certificates from countries requires official request.

So in Mexico police certificates instructions are:

Do I need to provide a Police Certificate for Express Entry?
Yes, but only after you submit your application. When you apply for permanent residence, you will be asked to upload a police certificate. Instead, you must upload a document that states: “I am applying from a country that requires an official request letter from CIC to get a police certificate.”
CIC will then review your application. If it is otherwise complete, we will send you more information on how to get a police certificate. Please read the instructions above for more information.
NOTE: CIC will not accept police certificates sent by mail for Express Entry applications.

Anybody in same situation already received more information about this. If there is anybody with the process already finished would be great. I am little bit nervous because I just provide a letter like they said.

I just came back from the Japanese Embassy today. I told them about the need to get police clearance but not having a big window as CIC would need them within 2 months. Despite what's written on their website, the staff told me that I didn't really have to submit a request letter from CIC and they could provide a PCC without one. So, I'd suggest you go and talk to the embassy staff in person and clear that out.

I am facing the same issue here.

I approached the Bahrain Police with my application for PCC. However, they are not willing to consider my application without a request letter on official Letter head. I need to obtain PCC from 4 countries. I will be able to obtain the PCC from the other 3 countries (UK, UAE, India) but I am facing this issue of request letter in my current country of residence Bahrain.
Kindly advice any alternate means as it would be wise to obtain the PCC before a person submits the PR Application.

Read the CIC instructions for the country in question. For example, Bahrain -

Citizenship and Immigration Canada will send you a letter requesting a police certificate after you send your Application for Permanent Residence. You must bring that letter when you apply for a Police Certificate.

If those are CIC's instructions, provide a brief letter of explanation instead of the PCC when you apply ("I lived in Bahrain for more than 6 months, however, I need a letter from Citizenship and Immigration Canada before I can apply for the police certificate." )

Many thanks Jes for your prompt response. I was thinking of obtaining some other form of official letters in order to obtain Bahrain PCC.
Now it is clear that I can apply for it only when I receive the official request letter from CIC.

Anyone received a letter from CIC requesting police clearance certificate , i am applying for Singapore and they need an official letter from CIC to get the PCC. Does anyone revived any official mail from CIC.?
