Hi All,

Need Suggestion.

I lost my husband in 2016 and since than I have been staying sometime at my parent's house and sometimes at my in law's house who are in Gurgaon. Ours is a joint family and everytime lease agreement was prepared under by brother in law name. I most of the time stays at my parents house which is in new delhi, I got my police verification certificate from delhi already. However my gurgaon address is updated in office records as some time I travel from gurgaon and since I have no address proof of gurgaon I cant apply for police certificate. I will share this explanation while submitting my file. Hope this will not create issue. All documents has delhi address Need suggestion. TIA

I don’t think you need to provide separate Police Certificates for every city but instead from every country where you lived after turning 18. So i guess that answers your questions? The PCC provided by passport office is acceptable just fine.

Thanks for your revert, I got the police verification certificate from the police station for my postal code. Will that be acceptable. I am in west delhi and as per CIC all the residents of Delhi will connect with local police station of that area

Absolutely, Either from police station or from Passport Office, both should work for residents of Delhi.
