Police certificate

The local visa office asked me to send a non translated police certificate + the translated one. Any idea why???

Well, I'm guessing cause you need to send the original and the translation. Can't just send the translated one without the original that it's translating. Plus when you have them translated, they're usually put together with those strings and special stickers and whatnot, you can't even take them apart easily (at least in my country.)
