I lived in UAE for more than 6 months in 2012. Now for getting PCC i traveled to UAE and stayed their one day from 25-26 Nov 2015. Departed on 26 Nov 2015
I mentioned this in my travel history. The PCC that I have received has an issue date of 26 Nov. Now I want to know my PCC date is fine or it should be after 26 NOV 2015.
According to CIC website
For countries where you have lived for six months or more, the police certificate must be issued after the last time you lived in that country
In my case I have to travel just for getting police certificate on a visit visa and stayed there for 01 day, so in my case this PCC is valid or it should be after 26 Nov.
According to my understanding the word "Lived" means if one is living over there in a row for more than 06 months, any short term visits after that period wouldn't count towards "LIVING", yes i have to produce a new PCC if I will live in UAE after 26 NOV 2015 for more than 06 months.
