Police certificate query

Dear all
I have a question regarding police certificate.
I am living at my current address since 15 April 2010. I obtained the the police certificate which mentions only the start year which is 2010 and not the exact date. Considering that the year 2010 is beyond the last 10 years range will this police certificate be acceptable?
