Good Day,

I have question regarding the police certificate that is required for Citizenship .

I have completed my 1095 days " 3 years in the last 4 years " already and never left Canada except for one trip overseas for one month which is excluded from the 1095 already .My Country of Citizenship is different from the country that I came from "as I was resident of that Country" and I have submitted a Police certificate already during the PR application from that Country , my question is do I need to get another Police certificate because I never left Canada as I mentioned except for one month in the last 3 years but based on the Rule I need to show that I was resident in other country before I landed in Canada I mean before the 1095 days" 3 years " ?

The issue is I see the exception on the instruction that if I submitted one during PR application, it's not required but t mentioned Country of origin " in my Case the country I was residing in before I immigrated to Canada " which I believe is different from country of citizenship/Nationality , correct ?

I believe I still fall under the exception because it does not make sense to submit another one for the same period covered already during PR application process .

Any Advise will be highly appreciated .Thanks

Yes, you don't need to submit again.

As for number 1095 days, wait for few more weeks as a buffer in case you forgot to list some trips.

Thanks for the Answer , Any idea if I have to answer Question 10 on the application as Yes and then provide this explanation inside the box ? Thanks again
