Hello All experts,

I am planning to apply for Canada PR under Canada Exp Class Express entry program. I am working in Montreal Quebec since last one year. I checked the required document list and have few questions for my case. I hope I'll get some help for all those questions here from all you experts. My questions are:
1. I am living in Montreal Quebec from last one year, if I apply for PR and mention Ontario for settling, French will be mandatory? Will my stay in Quebec counts as Canada experience?
2. I am an Indian citizen and i can get a police certificate from India, not a problem. I lived in the USA for 3 years in past, i saw in the document checklist that we need to produce police certificate for all the places/country where we lived for more than 6 months. in this case, how can i get the police certificate from the USA as i do not know anyone there now. Also do i need to produce Canada police certificate as well?
3. I am married and will apply for my spouse as well. She has done B.H.M.S in india which is not recognized in Canada. Is it mandatory that i have to have her education varified by WES for ECA?
4. Is it mandatory that my spouse also have to give IELTS test and clear it?

Waiting for your answers. Really appreciate your help.

Thanks,

Thanks

1. French is not mandatory. Yes.
2. USA PCC takes 3 month to get issued - https://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/identity-history-summary-checks/submitting-an-identity-history-summary-request-to-the-fbi
3. Not sure.
4. I guess yes.

For the US PCC, you have to mail your request along with fingerprints to FBI
Make sure that:
you are fingerprinted by a professional
you include several (at least 3) sets of fingerprints
you provide a US return address (of a relative or a friend who can scan to you - not mandatory but makes return posting much faster)
you provide credit card details that is going to be valid for at least 4 months with available limit
start the process as early as possible. If your fingerprints get rejected it's going to be another 3-4 months

French is not mandatory. But if you take the language exams for both English and French, you will get more points.

Your work experience in Quebec (if it is skilled -NOC level O, A, or B) will count as in-Canada experience, yes. Note that you may have to prove to CIC that you will relocate out of Quebec.

2. I am an Indian citizen and i can get a police certificate from India, not a problem. CIC provides instructions on how to get all PCCs. Note that the requirement for PCCs applies to your wife as well.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/infORmation/security/police-cert/index.asp

Andy108 has already given you the direct link for the FBI certificate.

No PCC is required for Canada at the time of application. It is possible that CIC requests one later.

3. I am married and will apply for my spouse as well. She has done B.H.M.S in india which is not recognized in Canada. Is it mandatory that i have to have her education varified by WES for ECA?

Only if you want points for her education.

4. Is it mandatory that my spouse also have to give IELTS test and clear it?

Only if you want points for her language ability.

Thanks all for the very useful information.

My son was born in Canada and is a Canadian citizen. Do I've to mention his name in the application as need not to apply for PR as he is a Canadian citizen. Will that make any difference to my application?

For USA PCC, I got that i have to apply for the same with FBI, my current location is Canada but i am not sure if I'll be in Canada after 3 - 4 months. In this case, shall i mention my home country permanent address to send the result to OR address can be changed anytime during the process via calling or any other way? What's the recommendation guy's, pls help?

Thanks

Thank you all for useful information!

nippu: I am also in the same boat, but I need PCC from UK and India. Coincidentally, I also live in Montreal and have six months old daughter born here. Did you created your ExpressEntry profile?

I have a question for all experts related to nippu's query, I have mentioned number of family members: 3 (me+spouse+child) during my express entry profile creation. I guess, my child doesn't require PR as she born in Canada. Does that matter in my application? I have already updated this information in my profile. Is that enough? I couldn't found any specific information about my child (age, nationalities etc.) Is that normal situation in Express Entry profile?

I am in the EE-pool since last four months, but not received ITA yet. My score was 298 on first day of profile creation, but now it's 450 after my recent ECA updates. I found lowest CRS point requirement of any draw so far was 450 (just two times in Sep/Oct). I missed that chance. Is there any positive prediction for upcoming draw in 2016?

I read this recent CanadaVisa News about 22nd draw of CIC on 04 Dec 2015 (22nd Express Entry Draw for Canadian Immigraton Sees CRS Point Requirement Decrease Once Again).

Surprisingly, I found the information of minimum CRS points for ITA till 20th draw on CIC. Whom should I trust for the correct information? Is there any genuine resources for the latest updates on CRS points draw?

Best,
V

nippu: No, I didn't include that.

:) Hello all experts, Can you please advice for my below queries??

Address can't be changed - it will be sent to the address you mention in the application form.

LOL - well actually, on the FBI website, there is a change of address form -

https://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/identity-history-summary-checks/address-verification

The other option is - you can provide a different mailing address than your residential address... If you have frineds/family in the USA or Canada who will not be moving, and can receive that for you, it's an option...
