Police certificate - copy or original?

Hi,

Does CIC ask for a copy or the original of the police certificate? I'm from the UK and am just wondering whether i need to get it sent here to me in Canada or to my mother (who could scan it) in the UK.

Hi there,

For now you will need to upload the scan of the Police Certificate and other documents. CIC may ask you later to send them the original copy.

My original police certificate is sitting with my brother in Pakistan. I have uploaded the scan so far. If CIC requests me to send the PCC later in the process, I will have it delivered to them. Hope this helps!
