Hello

I've got all my documents ready to go and found out that my police cert is dated July 9th and the guidelines says it is only valid for 3 months. If I sent in the old police cert, would they reject my application out right or would they send it back pending more documents? I'm just worried about that $550 up front fee being forfeited.

It is a really lengthy process to get it from abroad and I was wondering if I could still use the old copy? If not, is it possible to submit my application first with a note and the old police cert stating the new police cert is being applied for?

Lastly, are all family member's pics required if they're not applying to immigrate with you? I'm either dead tired last night finishing up all the paper work or just blind.

Thank you very much!

Alas, I'm afraid you should get a new PCC before submitting.

Photos - Are you submitting to CIC Buffalo?

"Provide two photographs of yourself and each accompanying family member with your application."

After you get some rest :) , take a look at the "Helpful Hints" section before you submit.

Gah, I must've be tired. Yes, instructions say 4 photos (2 must be for a different visa). As for non-accompanying family members, no instructions. Contact your local visa office and ask them - let us know what they say!
