Hoping that you would be good. I am planning to apply as a federal skilled worker and immigrate to Canada from London office. I have a bit of confusion regarding the points I can claim for my education. If you guys could be helpful to me in that regard, I'll be very thankful. I am sending you sending you my education details and please help me in identifying how many points I can claim?

1. I have done a two year graduation from Pakistan and by that time I have completed 14 years of full time education.

2. After that I have been studying a business law degree at London Met university and have been a full time student for two years but have not completed the degree. Do I get points for this full time study of two years?

3.Last year I have completed a Post-Graduate Diploma in business administration from London College of Accountancy, where I studied full time for one year. Do I get points for this?

In total I have studied full time for 17 years but the degree I have got is a graduation and a post-graduate diploma.

Waiting for your reply.

Regards,
AMIR.

Hi

How much points will one's spouse get (in the adaptibility factor) when she has:

12 years of education + 3 years of university degree (B.A. - Advertising) + 1 year of Integrated Pg diploma in travel & tourism. That makes a total of 16 years of education.

Pls reply asap.

Thnx

Hi
Thnx for the prompt reply
Also, Can you pls specify which category will she lie into out of these:

A one-year diploma, trade certificate or apprenticeship and completed at least 12 years of full-time or full-time equivalent studies
A one-year diploma, trade certificate or apprenticeship or university degree at the bachelor’s level and completed at least 13 years of full-time or full-time equivalent studies
A two-year diploma, trade certificate or apprenticeship or university degree at the bachelor’s level and completed at least 14 years of full-time or full-time equivalent studies
A three-year diploma, trade certificate or apprenticeship (not university) and completed at least 15 years of full-time or full-time equivalent studies
Two or more university degrees at the bachelor’s level and completed at least 15 years of full-time or full-time equivalent studies
A master’s or Ph.D. and completed at least 17 years of full-time or full-time equivalent studies

And like, i have done 12 years of eduction + 4 years degree of B.E computer sc. + 2 years of regular PGDM (equivalent to MBA)...so how much points will this get and which category coz' the confusion lies where they have put the "and" clause?

Thanks
GRV

If you are talking about your spouse points for you, then you will get four for his one bachelor plus 16 years education...
if you are talking about yourself as in ur second post, you will get 25 as principal applicant...

You get 20 points for your 14 years of education only.

But that would make it to 17 years of total education...in the first case (spouse)..
can you pls specify under which clause will my spouse fit in....and similalry for myself....
