hi
i am married,my wife education point help me to obtain 67 points fullfilled to under federal skilled worker immigration category,i am the only want to go to canada and my wife don't . wife not going to proceed as a applicant ,only me. in this case but i am showing my married proof with my application .so, i can easily get 4 points from my wife side and completed 67 points- so, plz tell me-this thing can count my wife education when she is not apply for applicant browse like i only depoist $550 not my wife?my point will effective if yes then tell the solution? plz help

I think you have to list her as going with you to claim her points. I am not 100% on that though but that means you'd have to pay her fee and apply for her too. You would both get your PR visa but if she doesn't want to go, her PR visa would just expire. You could still use yours.

if your wife is not on the appllication then you shouldn't claim those 4 points as they will not give it to you.

i think thatu have to include her name in application. as per my understanding CIC believes that if a married person is applying for PR his or her family will ultimately follow him/her. so they will ask for fee for ur wife and kids if u have any.

If you want to claim adaptibility points (in your case - your wife's education points) you will have to pay her fee. If you don't they will not award you any points.

Hi,

The above suggestions are right. It is always advisable to include all your family members in the application (accompaying or not) so that you may not have to face any problem in future if your family member may like to join you. Otherwise you have to sponsor them that will take another whole process.

Good Luck.
