I have a question regarding POF for landing. At the time of application I had mentioned that I have CAD 20,000. Now at the time of landing do I need to show CAD 20,000 or the required $ 13,801 for 2 family members. Please advise. Thanks.

hi bavarian.. from what i have learnt through my agency, they say that you can use the money once visa is stamped. So i guess in ur case since you have the visa, i dont think you need to show the funds. But please, do take advise of seniors too.

Just the CIC requirement of POF should be fine. But, it is good to carry as much. One never knows how, when & what funds u may require in a foreign land.

You will have to show the proof of funds if asked by the immigration officer in form of bank statements copy or bank certificate and minimum you have to show is $ 13,801 otherwise PR status will be denied.

Just One... the latest [few days old]. Ditto if opting for a Banker's Statement.
