Hi, I just wanted to know if it's possible to show proof of funds in cash and ask a public notary to certify that I have that money.

It is a little dangerous to have money in banks in my country.

Cash can not be used as POF. However, you can show a bank account in any other country as well. Try to explore if there is a way you can have a bank account in any other country, where it might be safe. Use the statement from there as POF.
