POF Balance Query

For POF, we will use a Salary Saving Bank account, have following question:
Current balance in the account is much higher than CAD 19,093 required for our family of 3. However, if I look at 6 months back, the balance was lower than threshold, which has been built up through salary credits. Is this a problem? The balance will be higher than the threshold for at least last 4 months, even accounting for exchange rate fluctuations.
