Perfectly fine in sending them additional relevant documentation, do quote your AOR number for reference. Whether you must send this now or wait for them to ask before sending anything is your call.

Sure thanks a lot! My only concern is that my bank statements were of 2 months so now I will send additional 3 months from that time period. What should I mention in the LOE? Why am I sending additional bank statements?

Because they explicitly asked for 6 month bank statements unlike CIC who only wanted a mention of 6 months average balance. So you can inform them that you want to send them the balance information at this point in time.

You can. How does that help you? Even for a single applicant, the minimum required amount is about 12K CAD.

in my port folio i have 16K + funds but for monthly statements i will not keep all the statements rather can i keep just checking-salaried account along with portfolio.

No need of statements if the letter mentions 6 months average balance is True. Provided your average balance is very close to or higher than your present balance. If it is much lesser than your present balance, you have to conclusively explain the difference and prove the source of funds which is causing this difference.

In your case, if requirement is 18000 CAD, present balance is 18500 CAD and 6 months average balance is 17500 CAD, you don't need to provide balance statements of last 6 months because there is no significantly large difference that needs to be explained. Also note that, in this example, 6 month average balance is less than required funds and that is also fine.

Hope that clarifies. All the best!

Asivad , In my case the 6 month avg is 18000 , but current balance will be 22000 ... So there is diff of some 4000 cad . So 6 months statement is needed now ? Also if I give 6 month statements , then it will show my monthly credit card payment also ... So should I ask my bank to mention my CC details in the letter?

I imagine that is within acceptable limits (it is less than 20% variation on 22K) and you should be safe with submitting just the letter in the required format showing 6 months average balance.

If you still want to submit 6 months bank statements, recommend that you mask/blackout all transactions except monthly opening/closing balances for the last 6 months - you are well within your rights to do so because CIC doesn't ever ask for bank statements - you can further explain that you are masking out the individual transactions to maintain the sanctity of your personal finances which do not concern CIC ans leaving out just the monthly opening/closing balances so that CIC can confirm for themselves that you don't have any unreasonably large credits in the last 6 months hence satisfactorily proving that these funds aren't borrowed. In this scenario, your credit card payments will not show up and you can ask your bank to avoid mentioning credit card details from the letter (in fact, regardless of whether you choose to submit detailed statements or 6 month average balance, ask your bank to avoid mentioning credit card in the letter).

Thank you so much for the reply guys, really helpful. I was going nuts over it and I believe I see some hope.

Also, I wanted to ask one more thing about ECA and IELTS results.

Do I have to send the results through the agency, for example ask WES to send the ECA report to OINP for my application or I can submit a photocopy of my report? I read the application guide and it said "Copy". I am in a bit of a dilemma. Any body already submitted for the OINP PNP?

Send a legible photocopy. They don't need the original report from you or WES.

Thanks Asivad ... My only credit transactions in my account is salary and my one time bonus -- for both I have valid proofs - pay slips and bonus letter

Asivad,

Wont it be better if the bank add the opening and closing balance of each month in the letter itself ? If I am masking the transactions , does it make them suspicious[not lonely gift or loan reason or any personal transactions, could be anything other reason to have them suspicious na ] ?

I've been asked to show detailed bank statement showing account history since Feb. 2015. Now the problem is, I can show my UK bank statements including my salary deposits and money I transferred to my father at regular intervals. But my current balance is very low in UK bank (below INR 50000) as I moved back to India after filing my EE application in April. How can I explain the above situation convincingly?

So I can show INR 650000 balance in India bank account but i can't show transactions as i used to transfer money to my dad from UK and he then in a single transaction created INR 650000 deposit for me.
