Hi there,

I hope you guys are doing well! I have a question regarding the PNP requirement. Well, I worked in a company that is registered in GTA, Ontario and I work remotely for about a year while being a resident of Ontario, but now I have moved to Saskatchewan for another job that would be helping me get SNIP, but I didn't quit my job yet. So, I want to ask if I can work a remote job from Ontario while gaining experience for the Saskatchewan nomination program, or should I quit my job to show that I cut my ties with other provinces. Does anyone knows about this case PNP requirement.

Thanks in Advance.

What SINP program? Are you going to be living and working in Saskatchewan with a Sask employer approved for the SINP program/

Yes, I would be living and working for Sask Employer approved for the SNIP program. I can't specify any program right now as I am still looking for it. I might also need to work for some other noc code than the work experience I already had.

I was not clear which PNP you are talking about, is it Saskatchewan or Ontario?
- For Saskatchewan PNP, I doubt employer / remote work matters, the state will know your whereabouts based on your economic activities (purchases on credit/debit card, utility bills), driver's license, health card, home rental leases, Home/Car insurance, etc....
- However, if you plan to claim job offer points in your EE profile for a Job offer on a closed WP, I doubt you will be able to justify working for an Ontario employer remote from Saskatchewan. You might lose that 50 points

What you're basically trying to do is claim your Ontario experience for SINP. I've seen it asked a thousand times and it's always a big fat no.
