PNP Process - Need some Guidance

I have few questions regarding Provincial Nominee program, have created express entry profile sometime ago and my CRS is 453. I was thinking about applying for PNP

1. How do I get shortlisted for PNP program? As I read from province sites, they state EE profiles automatically gets picked up if CRS is > 400. Is that right>
2. Do I need to create a separate profile for PNP by approaching provinces over and above EE profile?
3. Post creating EE profile should i wait for PNP draws where EE profile gets picked up and an invite is sent?

Please give some background and enlighten me with some latest info. thanks in advance...

Research PNPs and see which ones you are eligible for based on PNP score, NOC, CRS score.

1. Not true. PNPs are based on your CRS score, PNP score and NOC. Your NOC may be ineligible. Most PNPs require a job offer.
2. Select provinces in your profile.
3. Yes, you wait.
