How many ATIP GSMC you ordered? You need order GSMC for BOTH of you. Security check is launched for normaly 1 out of 2 applicants, as a rule for those with a more complex background.

P.S As CSIS is a different organization and sometimes IRCC does not update information in a timely manner. Security check rarely takes more than a year, usually ~6-11 months after eligibility.

My imm consultant did ordered AITP for both of us. Security not started doesn't really mean it is about to start security check as most applicants never gone through security check while it shows "not started".

Does dose anyone know this officer number CM01151? If your case is processing by him, it should be unlucky, he processes any case over regular time even I know a guy who waiting for a PPR letter for over three years until now, he didn't receive it. it's so scary for me, cuz my case is processing by him. OMG!

OMG, we have the same situation, someone told me cuz of my medical was expired, but idk what exactly reason my application status change back to IP

Hello everyone,

My AR is December 31, 2018. Almost 24 months and no DM yet. Last update was in January 2020 when IRCC requested a new Schedule A.
I called IRCC customer service few weeks ago and I was told the following:
Eligibility passed
Criminality passed
Security not started (????)
medical will be either re-do or extended as mine expired in September 2020
But it's unbelievable that after 2 years they haven't started my security check yet. I'm really tired of waiting. I don't really understand what's going with my application.
Anyone here with the same situation?

Man, don't worry, my friend's security is not started as well in GCMS notes, but he got a COPR recently, so I think cuz of covid-19 they don’t send copr in order. But for me, I still waiting for a medical extension, so we are in the same situation if our medical extension already we will get COPR soon
