This is what my employer did last year for me to get a closed work permit with them - https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/partners-service-providers/employer-portal/user-guide.html - I was nominated by BC PNP so I had a work permit support letter and that indicated that I was LMIA-Exempt. Employer had the pay the compliance fee too.Do you know what document we need to apply for a closed work permit ? My work permit is going to expire on 30 Nov

Thanks for your reply. My AOR is Jul 2019, I have PAL as wellThis is what my employer did last year for me to get a closed work permit with them - https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/partners-service-providers/employer-portal/user-guide.html - I was nominated by BC PNP so I had a work permit support letter and that indicated that I was LMIA-Exempt. I'm not sure what the situation is like nowadays but even for me at the time I was debating applying for a Bridging Open Work Permit - but just make sure you pass eligibility and have your AOR before you apply for the Bridging Permit.
This is just my situation but make sure it applies to you!
