Being an outland applicant, can I go for upfront medical? Is it acceptable for outland candidates. If yes, then how to upload the medical result? Waiting for MR since last 7 months
i think its too early. cos it may expire before your PR.

I got DM on 4th Sept but no COPR till now. I called IRCC. They told me that my file is gone to local office for virtual landing. They are not sure of wait time as there is a backlog on files. Does anyone have any idea about this process??

Go for an upfront medical, if you have less than one year left in your processing time. Also, make sure to book as early as possible. Doing an upfront medical does not harm anything. However, make sure avoid sending upfront medical and getting MR at the same time. it may cause some IME discrepancies.

an IME number is generated by IRCC when sending MR whereas upfront medical does not have an IME number associated with that,

I would suggest to do it within September, IRCC is busy with April - Jun applications issuing CoPR. not going to send any MR for July,2019 or later applicant this month. You never know what will happen in Oct
That’s what I am afraid of..that I will do the upfront and they will send me a mr at the same time..but then again,I have seen at least 5 people here in Saskatchewan last month that received Mr and after 1 week of giving the medicals they got dm
I have 5 months remaining for my application
