I sent the Webform to query the status of application. Today I got the reponse with the following:
  • Your application is currently being processed at the Local immigration office in Ottawa, Ontario.
  • The security background verification has not been initiated.
  • The criminal background verification is in process.
My timeline is:

AR, May 6, 2019; AOR June 14, 2019; MR October 21, 2019. Still No MP. The files transfered on December 20, 2019(the status shows AR in ECAS)

Hi everyone,

I have recently send my file for bc pnp paperbase file. I have a job offer from an employer in bc, how long does it take to get your PR. Someone said that it only takes 6-7 months if you have a job offer as compare to 11-12 months. Is that true or 11-12 months is the usual processing time regardless of whether you have a job offer or not?

thank you for your anticipated reply.

Any update guys??
It seems like all the applications are processed in batch grouped by month or quarter. Those of Mar and Apr have started receiving PPR and those of Sep and Oct have started receiving AOR after new year. Most of Jun have already had their MR in the last quarter 2019, we can assume those of Jul and Aug may be under process right now and get MR in the first quarter 2020. So any one of Jul or Aug receiving MR will be a singal that batch has started and those who shared the same batch will be updated soon.
