There are some people who are reporting they get the email for PPR without any previous update in ECAS, however. So sometimes it updates, sometimes it doesn't.

Guys i have a question... My boss really wants to promote me (closed work permit at the moment) and he only waits for my PR. My question is can i be promoted once my eCAS changes to DM if i call Call Centre of CIC and ask them about the decision? Or do i need to wait for an actual official document confirming PR? (That is if i get PR of course...)

u can accept the promotion anytime even if u r under process. U just have to inform pnp and cic about it. Promotion is a good thing they won't have any problem with that. I changed my job and informEd to pnp and my advisor just took 3 days to approve it, then I informed cic about it. All the best

when have u got medical request ? and when have u done MR ?
have u ever got any reminder email from CIO-NS,Sydney ?

Or should I submit my PP in person at the nearest VFS?

If you are near the visa office better bring your passport personally.. for faster turnaround time.. can you share your timeline? How long did you wait from 6lines in ecas status to passport request?

After DM It took a week to get PPR.

I'm far from Delhi so can I courier the passport ?

Ofcourse courier also can, just make sure you ask to india post services near you to get a prepaid courier for your VO, so that once it will return back to you it will be faster and secured. if not your visa office will use normal mail and it will take longer before you receive your passport and worse misplaced it
