And like u mentioned u r the Nov 4, 2014 applicant, actually I'm the Nov 3 applicant, been on IP for almost one month. Just being a bit upset and excited. Hopefully we all get it soon!

How long is the processing time? Still it makes no sense. If cases are processed by the time they are received, how come November applications have PPR already while October applications haven't even start IP yet by the same visa office?

For processing time you have to check it yourself. Visa offices have to make decision within the processing times posted on their website. Applications are not bases on the time they are received. They are based on every individual case. Every application is based on several factors. Nobody knows how cic processes applications. Everyone here in this forum is just guessing. Even if you call cic they will not answer any question regarding the processing until and unless your application has passed the processing time. You can try your luck by calling them and see if you can dig out any answer from them.

Applied for my Bridging open work permit yesterday. I made a paper based application. My PGWP expires Dec 14, 2015 and my PR application was received on Nov 20, 2014. ECAS show Apllication received status only.

I think you are right, I have called CIC 5 time in a week and none of them provided me with a status on my file.

Any new updates from November guys?

@hussy - I agree. I've tried quite a few times as well and they refuse to give me any updates on the status of my application.
