Hello Senior,
Has anyone here applied for the work permit extension with the PNP support letter?
Did you employer fill the IMM5802 and pay $230 for you before you submitted the extension application?
Any reply will be appreciated.

Yes you need to fill fill out that form and your employer should pay that 230 for LMIA exempt. Attach the receipt and the filled out form with the application.

Yes, if you are applying for work permit extension with the same employer then your employer needs to pay $230 fees and fill out two forms.

You will also need a copy of payment receipt from your employer.

One more question, if I get the closed work permit with my current employer's name on it, can I change job after I get the PR?

You can work anywhere, as much as you want after you become permanent resident.
