Today they updated my Ecas... earlier i had only mailing address on my ecas thats my agent address but today my ecas is updated with my residential address... hope so by next week...will get more updates....


any of november applicant got any update..?

Same with mine pardeep1328, in eCAS now shows my current home address, before just my representative mailing address. Awaits to get more updates by next week too most importantly PPR.

my ecas was updated last friday july 24th with two addresses; mailing and home address and change to in process instead of app rcvd..

timeline:
cic app rcvd nov 7th
aor rcvd apr 14
medical rqst rcvd apr 22
medical done apr 29
ecas updated medical rcvd 2nd week of may
paid rprf upfront may 17th (sent to cpco and cpc-ctd emails)
rcvd reminder email july 2 (resend passport biodata copy (same passport # during submission) and updated schedule A (only the work permit expiry date and date for home address updated) by regular mail canada post)
rprf copy july 3 ( sent to cio-cost recovery email)
ecas updated july 24 ( started processing n july 22)

i never called cic for anything even i rcvd reminder email.i just did what is need to be done.no harm if you send it to them again even you submitted it during ur application. i didnt submit rcmp copy during my application only my home country pcc which will expire this oct 2015( 1year). but 2 weeks ago i got my rcmp fingerprints but i didnt send it yet as i am waiting for my updated pcc from my home country.

Mine's almost the same as well. I'm an OPNP applicant. My timeline for the application, AOR and Medical request is the same. My medical was done on May 14th. I too received the RPRF on June 24th which I paid on June 25th. I too am waiting for the next step. Only thing though is that I didnt submit my PCC with my original application. Yet somehow I was asked for the RPRF. So I dont know what to make of that.

Awesome! I paid my RPRF the same day I got the request. So we pretty much have exactly the same timeline... maybe that means we have the same case processing agent.

They only ask for PCC if they need it. They typically need it if you have lived outside of Canada for over six months after the age of 18 - but they dont need it all the time, so you might be lucky and they wont ask it of you. I know some people who were unlucky and even though they were only out of the country for two months, they were asked for PCC.

Hopefully we get super lucky and they switch us to DM without IP or requesting an interview...

I also forgot to mention that the email is from CPC-CTD-Ottawa, so I guess my file is being transferred (medical request email was from Sydney).

I have a question if it applies to anyone: I am from Colombia, and police checks instructions in our case states that CIC “will send you a file number and a letter requesting a police certificate after you send your Application for Permanent Residence. You will need that letter and file number when you apply for a Police Certificate”...does anyone else in this forum is in the same boat?? I am not very clear of the order of steps in this case, I already have MR and RFPR, should this come next? Or is it that sometimes they waive that requirement? Any light on this is highly appreciated.

Hey man, I'm from Colombia as well, did you ever got that part figured out, I'm still waiting for instructions to apply for PCC and I don't really know what to do as it's been 3 months already since I submitted my Medicals and they've been received, I would highly appreciate any information; thanks in advance.

ECAS status changed to IP I guess on 21st July. Got an email asking for PCC and Schedule A with initials of the Case Processing Agent. Things a re progressing!
