PNP PR November 2014 Applicants

Man listen BOWP is only for the people who holds a open work permit ( Open Graduation work) before applying BOWP. And you applied BOWP before your AOR that's why they gave you rejection. Well good thing is that you have AOR and you are LMIA exempt person, just pay your compliance fee and you will get your close Work permit man and So relax AOR saved you bud! ;D

my wp was refused last month for the reason that my pnp was expired...then i went into restoration, and with this restoration status i applied online, depositing $455 (155 wp+200 restoration fee+ 100open wp)...now i have my aor, my file# and done with my medical, i applied online for open work permit plus restoration (before this i had open work permit, which was post graduate wp)...Do you think guys, its alright?

u think if I go to the border and get it there.. they'll refuse me?

How come, with no status you can go to the border, you cannot...apply online as soon as possible for close wp

Please do not get confused just because someone got refused or someone who has no concrete knowledge about BOWP. I have spent a lot of time going through cic website and I can confirm that all pnp applicants are eligible for BOWP if the required conditions are met. Just to make it easier I am posting the link of cic website so anyone who has a doubt or confusion can go through the link and understand what is required.

Cic updated this page on May 20, 2015 and now to be honest they have made things so clear that I dont think anyone can get confused.

When i was applying online, they didnt ask me anything about pnp, so...?
Secondly, i was issued pnp letter last july 2014...at that time there was no such thing "restriction or without restriction"...it was a standard letter that "we advised you to start working with ....(employer name0 as soon as possible)...i meet all the requirements (except i m n restoration now, and i have not been asked for pnp and it is already expired thats they rejected last time...but now i hv aor and file# and done with medical, but i applied for open work permit, is that okey?

The open work permit is a mystery! It's only can be solved when cic will reply on your application again. Till then only perceptions of everybody.

All pnp's before July 2014 had no mention about employer restrictions but the new pnp's have this mentioned so what you could do is ask your province to provide you with the new format pnp and update cic with it because according to cic website all pnp applicants applying for BOWP have to submit a copy of their pnp doesn't matter if its valid or expired because they have to check that employer restriction box. If you still have any doubts then you can call cic.

I am just concern, my medical was done on April 30th,2015. The medical center have submitted the reports to CIC on May 10th. But its not been updated online yet. how much more time it will take, and will it be good option to pay the PPRF fee upfront? will that save some processing time? Thank you for your advice

It's better to pay when they ask. Don't pay upfront. It may be complicated.

My application doesn't yet say In Process, but they sent the medical request and its been received, so I suppose that means its close.

hey can any one tell me how long it takes after medical . My medical was done on April 23 and already updated on website that your medical have been received and your application was received on 18th november 2014...so for how long we have to wait ...to reach our final destination...?

I got My MR on May 2nd, Medical done May 11th and ECAS shows medical received May 23rd. any idea to pay upfront RPRF ? whats the next steps?

hi guys! just so u know too.. i asked cic regarding that BOWP.. and they said im elligibke and they even give me my file no. but they still refused me which is sucks! anyways.

if i apply for closed work permit plus restoration. how long will it take? and based on the processing time now. what if i havent got result yet but my 90days is over. im still ok to stay here right? is the restoration a different one? are they gonna send me letter that im on restoration? im so confused. sorry to bug u guys but please help me. thanks!
