My background check: We are processing your background check.
Can someone tell me if it's already started?

Yep its already started..

In my opinion, I do not think so.
You cannot know if it is already started or not, unless you order GCMS note.
Because when I heard from someone, if you are inland applicant your background check is always "We are processing your background check" until your PR application is approved.
Even my application stay as that message since I got AOR.

For Inland applicants BG check is always started at the initial as you guys are already in Canada. There would not be much to verify for you guys.

When it says we are processing your background check it means its started.

For me my status is - We will let you know when we start your background check.So it clearly states that mine is not yet started.

But there is message states, "We will let you know when we start your background check?"
Is it new message or something? Never heard about that message before.

Currently, mine states, "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."

I feel your pain my friend, January 19th here. As I've said before it makes no sense to keep the most qualified Immigrants this country is receiving waiting the longest, specially after paying 1500 dollars for a Nomination that puts you right at the end of the waiting line.

This Provincial Nomination thing is probably both the most expensive and slowest category there is, it's surreal.
