When did you sent your passport

I sent a photocopy of my passport on Jun.4, it arrived in Ottawa next day and they sent me CoPR back on Jun.7. I received it this morning.
I used Xpress posts.

It depends what your nationality is.
I’m from a visa exempt country, its citizens only needs eTA to enter Canada so I didn’t have to send an original.

I calledtgem today they said as of today afternoon they already sent me passport back and gave me the tracking number but i can’t track it

Congratulations Nicolas. I have a question for you Nicolas. So, if anyone comes from a country where does not require a specific VISA to travel to Canada, he or she does not need to mail the original passport to IRCC? In fact, I was not aware of that. Could you verify it for me?

Tracking information could take some time to be updated,or your passport may be still sitting in a post office waiting to be collected and processed, or you were informed a wrong tracking number.
A lady in my local post office gave me 2 tracking numbers when I bought 2 xpress envelopes, I’m so sorry that you didn’t see someone like her. Hope you get it on Monday.
