Based on the last update CIC website (on May 13, 2018), the processing time is still 18 months

Officially,CIC website saying 18-months. Unofficially, 70% applicants getting PPR in 16-months.

Nothing's happening for the past few days now. Did they stop issuing PPR? You can never figure out how they work....based on the trend they issue PPR even to march and april applicant. I'm on my 16th month of waiting. On June 3 it will be my 17th month. This is really frustrating.

UAE provide both, hard copy and soft copy.

when we apply online for pcc there is option for soft copy and hard copy.

SOFT COPY BY EMAIL - JUST 4 HOURS TO RECEIVE
HARD COPY BY POST - USUALLY TAKES 2 OR 3 DAYS TO RECEIVE, INSIDE UAE

But first you have to create an account with MINISTRY OF INTERIOR.

Well, I already submitted one with the application and its said the expiration was in 3 months so I guess they need a new one maybe?!.. MyCIC account shows replacement needed. I have applied for a new one lest see what happens, will keep posted
