I called CIC today, they told me, my background check/security check/criminal check/medical check. everything has passed and clear. They are finalizing the case. Don't know how long it will take.
So I am really frustrated by this wait but it seems like CIC is dragging the process. Don't know why.

How many Jan 2016 applicants still waiting for DM or PPR after background inprogress. I am Jan 8 applicant and my background is in progress since since 21 April 2017.

We have the same timeline. I called CIC today, everything has passed but they are just delaying our process. Maybe the agent for Jan, 2016 is not a worker.
