Will I still get MR if i have done upfront medicals? I am March 6th applicant and no MR yet. I did upfront medicals last yr though

No you don't the panel physician automatically uploads it. The document you got just states that you've got your medical done. The results are automatically uploaded by the physician to CIC

Nothing yet buddy. My medicals status changed to Passed in CIC on Oct 2016. Nothing happened after that.

CIC call center agent said that, I can expect DM on May 3rd week. So, waiting for it.

My file has been transferred to CPC-Ottawa, and I was worried since it was transferred as complex case.
Now I have got my most recent GCMC notes, and a CPC-Ottawa officer has put this note on my application on March 8:

REVIEW TYPE: Program Assistant APPLICATION: EP... REGULATION: PNP, ... I have reviewed this application based upon the documents submitted by the applicant and the information contained in the file and note the following: RECOMMENDATION: Ready to Finalize PNP Triage: Select Triage

Any ideas on what this really means?

My timeline: Application Filed on March 18 2016, AOR received on May 03, Meds Upfront, RCMP request on Oct 15.
My file has been transferred to Ottawa on Feb 16.

Nothing to worry. You will get DM soon. It seems applicants who did upfront medical are getting DM early

Hi Guys, just got GCMS notes today. I am very confused. I applied Feb 1st 2016, AOR April 11 2016, Med request Feb 1st 2017 (I had already done medicals on Jan 16 so I just asked the doctor to link and submit the medical result which he did on Feb 4th) up till now my medical is still saying 'in progress' do you know why? shouldn't it be saying passed by now? PLEASE advise me, what should I do? I have representative but they are very annoying and never really want to answer my questions, I regret using them. i can't even link my application online because I have a representative. please advise?

So it looks like they have started issuing DM's and PPRs again..
Except now its very random for people between December and March... not a first come first serve basis.

To those whose Background is changing to In Progress on MyCIC, are you guys getting an email update for the change? or is it random?

I think this time they just did randomly, one person stated on forums that his Background check never changed to in progress, and he received the PPR request. i think sometime they don't bother to update our accounts even may be due to workload lol, just saying

Oh I did the same upfront thing. When I receive the medical request, I created a case specific enquiry to upload my umi letter scan. My med status turned to passed after 2 weeks. You can submit your medical letter with the UMI and barcode through here:
