Hi everyone.
I just checked the status of my application on the CIC website and it shows that my Medicals are Passed.
I did Meds last week.
What is the estimated processing time from here?
and what is remaining? just PPR right?

There will be a security check and then they will email you request for your passport once everything is clear.

But it takes a couple of months .. right now they are still clearing december 2015 applicants for security check

Hi Guys, here is my timeline.

AINP - PGWP

Application Package Received on Dec, 9 2016
AOR Received on Feb, 10 207

I have doubt, If I go to work overseas while waiting for the PR it will affect my process or have problem with the approval? I have my work permit valid until Nov 2018.

Other question, my wife have the medical valid until april, do you think that because i already have the AOR i can send the medicals upfront?

Thanks.

Ok.
Well, if they are processing Dec 2015 applicants, then I think mine is not that far.
I'll be watching the forum for their PPRs . lol. ;D

Early Feb applicant here.
According to GCMS my file is in PS. Not sure what that is haha.

Hello Gentlemen,

I've been keeping an eye on this forum and wanted to thank everyone for the input. Below is my timeline and status, i thought of sharing

Inland Applicant through AINP

Applied Early December 2015.
AOR Early March 2016.

Did upfront medicals,

Medicals Passed, Background check moved from not needed at this time to in progress, i guess this is the last phase of security screening.

Anyone has a similar timeline as this ? How much time you think i am away ? Cheers

Not that far it is another 2 - 3month process for security check but with paper based files they are just so meh... I am a Jan applicant did my meds they received it last week but still haven't updated mycic whether its passed my criminality is passed all that is left is Security once they pass the medicals.

But if you haven't ordered GCMS notes order them its $5 but will give you a really good idea where you are standing now..

Another early Feb here.

PS = Paper Selection (or) Pre Screening

Paper Selection usually comes as PSDEC(Paper Selection DECision) which comes with eligibility check. So, it would be Pre-Screening this time, which yours is waiting to be reviewed for security/final.

Few more months...

Contact AINP to see if working oversea will void your nomination. It's up to what is your condition for the nomination.

Your wife will eventually need to get another medical--the medical should be valid until both of you "land". There seems no way you can land before April.
