I'm not an inland applicant.
I have applied from the USA.

My country of citizenship is India though.
Applicants from USA will be processed at Nova Scotia and Ottawa, will be the same timeline as inland applicant.

Oh really... I didn't know that. I was thinking they might eventually transfer it to Los Angeles or New York.
Do you know what's the timeline for inland applicants?
And, do you know any other applicants from the US?

Timeline for inland applicants is roughly 6-10 month to get medical request after receiving date by Nova Stoica, then will take another 2-6 month to get PPR.
You will not want your file transferred to LA or NY, since their office processing time is around 55 months by the end of 2015, since then IRCC changed the way to report the processing time, and I don't know what is the processing time right now.

Your wife will be granted BOWP as a dependent applicant, in which being under condition to your status.

Simply go myCIC and apply for the work permit. Since you have no ref number, you may need to complete questionnaires. Once you finishes answering all questions, you will have a list of documents to submit for both you and your wife.

Generally, you will need,
IMM5710 and etc CIC forms
Fee receipt
Passport copies
Current WP copy
BCPNP Nomination letter
AOR letter
Merriage Cert
Letter of employment (or so, like Job offer letter)

And your wife will need,
IMM5710 + IMM5475
Fee receipt
Passport copies
Current WP copy
Cover letter that states PA(which is you)'s UCI# and EP#

for more, refer "Extend your work permit – Economic class applicants" section at CIC website. (Sorry, I can't attach link here since I'm not allowed yet.)

How likely a FEB 2016 applicant would get a PPR in sep-oct? Any ideas friends?

Is it always taking full 15 months to complete a PR application? The website myimmitracker.com shows that on average it takes about 9 months? Any idea on that anyone?

hi,
if you check PR application processing times for April May June, you will see that few guys got AOR in August 2016 and Med request within 30 days.. i have spoken with few of them and they confirmed that med request was send to them with 30 days of AOR.. they filed the application in JUNE 2016... so don't know what really going on..

Applicants who are not currently stay in Canada will be processed that visa office that close to them, so the processing time is very different as people who already in Canada.

Hi guys,

In one of the thread, someone mentioned that we need to provide certified true copies of our documents to be sent to CIC. Document checklist mentioned "copy" only. Does copy means certified true copy which includes passport/birth certificate (already in english)?
