hi everyone,

Yesterday I got mail from CIC to link my permanent residence paper application to my online account but I can not able to link them. I gave all the details correctly but somehow it always give an error at the end

Can any one please tell me detailed steps to link them correctly.

its urgent please help

When you log on to your mycic account, one of the blue buttons says "Link application tho this account". Click on it. It will ask you your file/uci number and a few questions regarding your application. then it will search for your application and link it to your account and show up on the mail page. that way, whenever there is an update, you will get an email. Also have your passport number ready as it will ask you for that.

I can't link mine either. According to their page, only PNP applications submitted before January 1 2015 can be linked to MYCIC. So I don't know. Mine was sent in Feb 2016.

Just put ONE applicant in the section regardless of how many dependents you have really had in your file, then you should be able to link to it.

I have asked Lakesyde for his opinion. If anybody has any suggestion. Please reply. I have a small clarification regarding Schedule A Section 8 and 12. Thanks for your previous reply and Please clarify this doubt:

Is this wrong what i did and will this be considered as incomplete in my schedule A? My intention was to say , I was there till 31st of the month and then I went to the next house or workon the 1st? Please see this example and let me know.

1) 2012/07 to Present
2)2012/05 to 2012/07
3)2011/02 to 2012/04
4)2010/12 to 2011/02
5)2010/09 to 2010/11

I had done something similar in my application. I was wondering if this would be considered continuous or not? If you see this does not look continuous but my intention was to say in (3) and (5) that I was there till 30th or mainly end of the month and then next activity starting the 1st.

Please let me know if what I did is correct or should I change everything to become continuous? If I did make it continuous should I explain and write a letter? I have a short break and then I head back to camp so I am in hurry. Plz reply and tks.

firstly this not how you will arrange it, you will start from old to new, you will start from 2010/09 to 2010/11 then tell them what you are doing,
then 2010/12 to 2011/02 tell them what you are doing , and you are not expected to leave any space and gap, and that your 2012 till date is too long, they will belive you are hiding sometins, 2012 till 2016, natin, means you are working at a company, ok good,

I have submitted my application in March and got AOR in April. But still I have not received any email regarding link to my paper account online. I am really very tensed about this. I was wondering whether all the March applicants already received this email.
Can anyone help?

tensed for what? If they will ignore rest of the applications and do urs first? Just sit back and relax. Dont expect anything for couple more months and u will get medical request. We r on same boat lol

Is there any disadvantage of linking application to MYCIC ?
I mean
Still we will receive cic email regarding MR, RPRF and PPR request in our email address?
Or In MY CIC ACCOUNT??

There is none. You will still get Reminder, MR and PPR emails from CIO-Sydney on top of updates from MyCIC

I just received the email to connect my application to MyCIC. Tried it again but still showing no application found. Seems like there is some kind of glitch in their system.
