I think they are doin a complete run of selecting married applicants throughout 2016, and after us its the Singles turn. I saw some and not all of May Applicants in other forums getting PPR today, as some and not all April guys got it last week.

So u mean married people are prioritized?? How??

I believe that has more to do with the people that are applying from Mexico or have some relationship to Mexico? If you lived in Mexico more than 6 months, you also need a criminal record check from there. Processing it would probably take longer.

I applied express entry and got the pr. Meanwhile he applied his federal after BCPNP. Then we got married and updated his file. I hope it doesnot delay his PR. We didnt wanna apply on my basis. Thats complicated and needs lots of proofs for marriage

My cic account showed "update" but no messages or emails and no changes on the application.

my medical is gonna expire in November 2017. Thats why they gave me extention i hope.

Well by doin their applications first, and by one shot they admit 2 people in Canada. I think it is unfair to leave behind singles but most people i saw getting PPR in this group were people with spouse.

At one shot they admit 2 people in Canada, thats how i think it happens for people with spouse. Other forum = April, May, June pnp 2016 ... It is really absurd buddy i understand im single too!

A few days to a week. But honestly, their replies are not very useful.
I emailed a 1 page detailed letter to the immigration minister because I was so frustrated with this situation. I explained my situation and how long I have been in the country and why I think it is unfair to have my application delayed with no updates. The response took 3 months and it looks like a templated response because it failed to address any of the concerns I mentioned in my letter.
I applied through EE. Might apply through Spousal if EE fails too

I am an jan 2017 applicant all my friends got pr in april 2017
I am still waiting coz i added my spouse
