I agree to Druce. Canada is all about multiculturalism and being respectful to the sentiments of other people. It is considered very rude when two people are talking in their native language in front of a third person who doesn't understand that language, therefore a common language (English in most cases) should be used when communicating in group.

I hope we all agree to that.

Hey Guys,
I am new to this group but an old member of this forum. Add me too in this waitlist. I will be sending my PNP PR application tomorrow (all ready for now), so here's my timeline.

AINP Nomination applied: Feb 4, 2016
AINP Nomination received: May 1, 2016

PNP PR Application sent: May 17, 2016 (to Sydney CIO)

AOR: still waiting
MR: still waiting
PP request: still waiting.

I just have a few questions for you guys. If you can please answer, it will really help me get a clear picture.

1. How many emails do we get for AOR?? I have read somewhere people say they are getting two emails..
2. Is RPRF usually requested along with MR?
3. If the visa office requires us to send the Canadian Police Clearance, what stage do they usually ask us? I haven't sent any Canadian police clearance, only from my home country. I hope that's not a problem. I can provide it if they ask it at a later stage

CIC will send you only 1 mail for AOR, PRPR is in 2 ways, u can pay it before sending your application and put the reciecpt with your application, the advantage of doing this is to make your application faster, 2 u can pay it later during medical stage, so its in 2 ways, but i will advice u if u have money u can pay both application fee and right to permanent residence fee at once, but since you have already sent ur applicaiton, u will pay your right to permanent residence fee during or after medicals, u supose send police report with your application at first, they will ask you after medicals or before

yea idealy its not normal, but this days, CIC is filled up with applications making every process slow, it also depends on your visa office, but soon you will get medical request, need to have patience, very long patience with CIC

yes especially if you go to philipine forum, any philipine forum u will be suprise with wat you will see there, there using there local language, some will mix it with english, i dont understand

Cancel representative-Anyone used to/ plan to cancel your representative, pls share & help

I have been experiencing terrified service provided by a Canadian immigration lawyer in Canada.

After 2 years since receiving my 1st deposit, they performed very bad causing the delay in the process. 2 years later, I had to do my own research & coached them what to do with lots of pressures and arising expenses. Finally, just got Nomination from the province. I have paid them 2 times for provincial works and decided not to continue with them for federal steps.

My question: 1) Do I have to use the form "Use of Representative" to declare Cancel Representative and send to the provincial Nominee program (which already issued nomination successfully)?
2) Do I have to attach the form "Use of Representative" to declare Cancel Representative and send to CIO when applying for PR?

Can this bad lawyer affect PNP and/ or CIC to make negative decision on my case?

I am so stressful with this lawyer for years... and still...

Hello dear Ayokunlex01 and everyone!

I dont disagree with your opinion simply because I believe that it is always better for all of us to understand each other not only in this forum but once we become immigrants in a predominantly english speaking country (or French if you may wish); but at the same time im not agreeing as well... so allow me to explain a little bit...

The beauty of this forum is that it does not dictate any language to be used when posting something, no borders, no limits, thus anyone can start a thread/threads, and through these threads you can aim your message directly to whom you want to address your questions and/or share information with. That is why we have threads in English language, Filipino, Indian, etc.

In my opinion, the rule of thumb is that, through the title of the thread it will already give you a hint what to expect in that particular thread. However, there are times when a member wrongly uses a language/dialect in an english or let me call it a "universal thread", maybe because that member got confused/forgets that he/she is actually posting his/her message in the wrong thread especially that most members are members of numerous threads.

So let's join and be in a thread/s where we think we will have a better understanding with the members. And let us be mindful of the "official" language used in a particular thread for the others to understand...

Let's continue promoting peace and understanding aside from being of help to others as future immigrants and citizens of Canada! ;D
