Yes man. Your passport is stamped now. Expiry date shows that you had time till that date to cross the border and complete the final process.

You must land in Canada before the expiry date, which appears on your Canada Immigration Visa. Usually, the expiry date is one year from the time medical examinations were completed. As this is not always the case, be sure to verify the expiry date as soon as you receive your Canada Immigration Visa.

Had the same experience before.

There is one call center agent named "David" seems very impatient somehow.

Hiya, all

Hope everyone is well, I'm afraid I'm not.

I'm a March applicant under PNP.

I contacted CIC via webform early in May and received an email from them.

It says

"Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

We verified the information you provided and can confirm that your file is currently located at a visa office outside Canada."

I've never ever been outside my province since I came to Canada.

How come it's possible my file is currently outside Canada.

It's SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO wrong and frustrating!!!!

Hope they sent this email by mistake.

Anybody here has encountered this sort of problem?

If so, please share your experience and wisdom with me.

On top of that, my CIC account says 'we need an additional document', but there's no message requiring additional doc so far.

I suppose it's a bug, right? Hope so.

Wish good luck to you all.

Same email to me today. It does not make sense and do not think you need to worry about this
