I am a March 09 applicant. This appeared on MyCIC:

But there isn't any message. No email either.

UCI is issued as an identity number for future use. It does not guarantee any approval.

I added my spouse after getting my file no. From cic. She has never landed in Canada
Yesterday i saw the uci no. For my wife on my online account....
Is uci no. Only issued when file is approved???
Or am I overthinking

I just got it checked today through eras as I was unable to attach my application to my cic but I got the decision made.
Hoping to get PPR by end of the week.✌

However there's a new section on my cic for BIOMETRICS. Are they going to ask us for biometrics details at this stage of our application and further delay us? Oh God

No they wont ask for it, if you are in Canada and have provided RCMP. BIOMETRICS might be requested specifically for some applicants, if they find something suspicious.

I am in Canada for the last three years. They didn't ask for RCMP certificate from me. But I gave police clearance certificate from my home country. My GCMS notes say RCMP checks done and criminality passed.
I hope they don't more for more documents at this stage. I am on the 15th month now.

Sent passport on 23rd May. Application status changed to approved in MyCIC account on 5th May. Return tracker not activated yet!

What was the status before approved ?
I mean after PPR....?

Jan 11th applicant. I wrote case specific enquiries about my file status as it exceeded processing time. But, I never got response from IRCC for my Four enquiries. It seems, they blocked my mobile number. For all options, it was saying unable to connect !

My local MP office called IRCC Second time (follow up) today, regarding my file. They simply said "All checks are done, no additional information is required and waiting for final review. THERE IS NO DUE DATE." Same answer which they gave Three weeks ago.

MP office caller asked them, they gave same response Three weeks ago and why there is no progress after that ? Why IRCC is not responding to applicant enquiries ?
IRCC said, they can't fasten process for any particular file; all files should go through the same process. They will never say any due dates and file processing time are estimates only. IRCC will definitely respond for each and every enquiry, that might be within 31 business days (this is also approximate response time) or more than that.

My MP office said, they can't do anything much about it and sorry to me. If I could not call IRCC, they can call behalf of me to check status but only after Four weeks gap.

I'm very sorry to hear. Did you add dependants after you applied? Adding anuthjng after submitting application can delay the processing time. Also did you order GCMS notes?
