hello everyone,

based on other forum threads I saw background check details are like these...

1. Background check - Not applicable.
2. Background check - Your application is in progress. The next step is to conduct a background check.
3. Background check - We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information
4. Background check - In progress

just curious, if it says, NOT APPLICABLE - does it mean they haven't started the BACKGROUND CHECK? or does it mean they are DONE with the BACKGROUND CHECK?

Hello there,

I saw your status on the forum, how do you see all those details? like "review of eligibility, background, medical....."

I clicked "check your application status", and then fill in the application number, family name, and date of birth..., then it shows nothing except "in Process".

I then clicked "In process", it only shows "We received your application on.., and we started processing your applicaton on...". Nothing else.

Could you teach me how to get all those details?

Yeah i got my Medicals and RPRF at the same time.

I got those details from MYCIC account... thanks and best of luck as well... =)

After I tried to link an existing application to my cic, it shows "We see that you have a representative tied to this application. Your representative has access to your application."

I do have a lawyer for this. Is this mean I can not link my application to my CIC, only my lawyer can????

What do you mean by that? I'm asking because you mentioned that you are still waiting for the visa.

Hello ... i am going to apply bowp soon... but i have a question.... i am a pnp pr applicant with no employment restrictions on certificate... my pnp is already expired in September last year.... i have applied pr in may 16.... my pgwp is expiring on 1st April....in the mean time i have changed employer infact my company was taken over by new company... so now i am going apply bowp with new company that is different company than i have applied pr with!! Will there be any problem with that....? Do i need to go pnp first to get letter for wp??

I am based on SINP PNP with employment job offer and my time line is as below.

(1) Nomination approved on 27 April-2016

(2) PR application submitted at Nova scotia on 30 jne- 2016

(3) Got first Acknowledgement of Receipt (AOR) on 19 August-2016

(4) Application transferred at NDVO on 11 October -2016 ( Second AOR)

(5) Medical requested on 16 December -2016

(6) Medical done on 19 December 2016

(7) Got Email requested to pay RPRF (Landing fees) on 20 December -2016

(Cool Paid RPRF on 20 December -2016 and forwarded Payment receipt to Delhi immigration.

(9) Medical updated as PASSED on 25/25 December -2016.

As well please see ECAS below.

We received your application for permanent residence on May 30, 2016.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on August 18, 2016.
We started processing your application on August 18, 2016.
