Application received - 27 April 2017
Medical request- 14 march 2018
Ppr- 1 August 2018

I have a question: Do I need to have a US visa to land at the border. Thanks

BTW, I never got a pre-arrival e-mail, I was kind worry about it, but turned out it didn't mean anything, so if you didn't get a pre-arrival letter don't worry.

UPDATE
Inland - OINP - Single
Nationality: China
Applied: May 4th, 2017
AOR: July 21st, 2017
Medical Request: March 19th, 2018
Medical Passed: April 13th, 2018
Pre-Arrival Letter: I've been checking with my agent but don't think I receive any...
Update on online self service: August 1st, 2018 The last (4th) line's been " Medical result has been received". But in the morning of August 1st, 2018, I checked and realized that line's been moved to 5th line. And the new 4th line is " We've sent you medical instruction on March 19th, 2018. To avoid any delays, please inform us .... etc..." And I questioned my agent and they confirmed nothing to worry about, since I passed the medical exam already...
Passport request: August 1st, 2018 9:14PM

I just got the good news from my agent earlier this morning and I am so happy!

Hi congrats...My Ecas shows the same. 4th line has been moved to the 5th and now there are 6 lines but no PPR yet. Waiting.....

What is each line saying if you don’t mind?

Permanent Residence
  1. We received your application for permanent residence on April 24, 2017.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on July 10, 2017.
  3. We started processing your application on July 10, 2017.
  4. We sent you correspondence on January 28, 2018. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.
  5. We sent you medical instructions on March 14, 2018. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
