Hey Guys:

Exactly what happens once you get a PPR? you send your passport and it comes back with a permanent visa?
And then what? what do you take to border to convert that into a PR?

Mail them ASAP. As it clearly say in mail send your passport within 30 days if you are unable to do mail us.

Passport received by CIC on January 13. and return tracker activated today. (btw. I accidentaly wrote my address on the return envelope and it doesn't seem to complicate anything). Good luck to all of us!

Guys do i need to show proof of funds while landing? I'm provincial nominee already in Canada

Frustrated and pissed

I sent my passport January 10, received by IRCC the next day. Return tracking was activated on January 20 and received it today.

But the frustrating part is that .... My dependent is not in Canada and I emailed Cpc-Ottawa requesting a letter for her since January 6 and no response till date. I just read that I can't land until she gets her visa....
Anybody having the same problem?

I have called IRCC like 5 times since I sent the mail but they could help.

Has anyone tried to flagpole in a different province from your nominating province? I am Alberta PNP and I don't drive nor do I have anybody available to drive me 8 hours (back and forth from where I live to Coutts). I am planning purchase a roundtrip plane ticket from Calgary to Vancouver and do my landing at Peach Arch just because it's the closest border where I can take public transit/taxi then walk to the border.

I've sent a message through CIC webportal asking for an appointment at CIC - Calgary. I heard it takes weeks and sometimes months to get an appointment. I just miss my family so much and would like to be with them asap! The above plan is just incase I don't hear back from them in 3 weeks but I'm not sure if it's allowed or not.

I wish you will get the reply soon.....people get the reply in few hours to 48 hours max

I am sure you have followed the prescribed format if not then do it immediately because it happened to me as well......I sent them regular email got no reply in few hours then sent them the second email in the below format and got the reply in 24 hours so I hope it helps you:

In CoPR it is clearly mentioned that your Province and City of destinationn....if you have applied PNP then do as directed or call CIC for further clarification on it
