I received mine, everything passed except for security, which was 'Not started'. Gcms notes generated in Oct. 27. Bachground Check went 'in progress' 1 week after that.

Anyone else?

Should I order GCMS notes again? I have ordered two times already. One in late August and the second time in late September. In both cases the latest progress was that the eligibility and medical were passed and security not started. I called cic in mid October and they told me the security had started. In my cic profile security changed to 'not needed' in early August as soon asthe medical results were validated.

I'm not sure if there is any value in ordering the GCMS notes again knowing that the security already started sometime in early October most probably.

i need to ask something. My application is forwarded in september and i was hopeful to get a reply when i came to know that my MPNP supporter enters the wrong file number by mistake in the settlement plan 2 which he has forwarded to the MPNP. Limit of 30 days has already been passed now but he still sends the settlement 2 plan again when he came to know about the mistake. Is that going to be a problem? tell me if it is going to effect my file. I am really worried right now and don't know what to do in this current situation. I wrote an e-mail too to the Manitoba help mail address. If you know anything about this. Please tell me what should i do.

Hello Saska,

Its 16 months (yes, 16) from when they gave you the AOR because that when processing your application actually begins.

That's not correct. It is 16 months from the date application is received. The application processing begins when they receive the application package and issuing AOR is part of permanent residence process.

Yes Hammer is right it's from the date your application is received.

Azharm, I'd give them a call and clarify that with CIC. The number is 1 (888) 242-2100 (avoid voice prompt by dialling 1131 once connected). Make sure they fix that wrong file number situation with you. If you find an unhelpful agent, try calling another one. Worst case scenario – they read you the generic memo (When did you apply? Process time is 16 months, so before that time pass, we cannot help you.) When that happens, politely thank the person, and try again until one helps you pull up your file to look at.

With the current process, only god would know the answer really. They are unpredictable. Even the nicest agent had a script of 16 months process. She said for mine, it would be done by Jan 24, which is the 16 months time frame.

What date did they receive your application?

My Workpermit is expiring on 31st december 2016 and i am inprocess of applying a extension(CLOSED).
CIC told i need a SUPPORT LETTER from PNP Manitoba to apply for closed workpermit.
CAN YOU PELASE LET ME KNOW HOW TO GET THIS SUPPORT LETTER .IS THERE ANYWAY TO APPLY THIS ONLINE TO MANITOBA PNP.
