Sept Applicants will get PPR in December.
October Applicants will get PPR in January 2017.

So basically CIC taking 15 months to finalize.

15 months, are calculated from application receipt, or AOR, or file transfer to visa office?
Kindly help me understand the real starting period...

Not AOR date

Sorry for being negative, but let's face some reality as well:
There are still Sep applicants (including myself) whose Background Check has not been started/updated (Not needed at this time)!
There are July applicants who are still waiting for PPR...

15-16 months processing timeframe is for paper based pnp application

I am October applicant my BG changed to IP couple of Weeks ago.
And some other Oct applicants got their BG changed too.
I think sometime it depends from application to application...
i am sure you will see August applicants will get theit PPR any time this month

Is your medical still valid and or going to expire soon?
It's only valid for 1 year.
