Our timelines are so similar (even though I am out land) and I am also still waiting patiently for MR...though my patience is running thin at this stage.

If only CIC would have finished up with pending cases before they started with new EE applications it would have not been this frustrating. This would only have been just and fair Now you see ee applicants getting PPR that applied after paper based applicants and there is no way to speed up the process. It really gets to me. But hey, no one said this was going to be sunshine, roses and a fair journey, guess we just have to suck it up.

Tomorrow id Friday and I am hoping for a big MR, RPRF and PPR rain :D ;D ;)

No issue if its more than 6 months old. Many inlanders submitted PCCs which are of 6+ months.
But they might have the validity as 1 year and might ask if it passes 1 year. Not sure for RCMP.

Can medicals be done and sent before the cic's request..? if yes then should that be done before reminder email or after ..?

got received email from cic confirming that they received my additional documents.
i submit it thru enquiry.

May I know how did you send the "supporting documents", via CSE or via courier?

I have sent additional documents via courier (RPRF Invoice + ORIGINAL PCCs). It would be very nice if I will receive the same email as yours from Canada House in London. ;D :P ;)
