Just received my GCMS Notes (41 pages), applied by my sponsor 18 March 2016.

Eligibility, Medicals, Criminality, Security shows not started on page 2. Paper based applications does not seem to be getting the same attention as the EE applications.

On page 8 under Eligibility there is a due date, 2016/12/10. This is exactly a year after we received AOR from CIC. What does this even mean? Honestly, I dont hope we will have to wait until then before they touch the application again?

The waiting game is really getting to us at this stage, how much longer ???

Hi Druce,

I am thinking to cancel my paper based application and re apply under express entry pnp. We got all documents ready. True fact is I will loose 1100$ (550*2 applicants) application fee. But it's ok for now.

Only confusion is being 7 months past from date of application should I do it or not.

I am seeking suggestion from you seniors.

Inland PNP application is officially 15 months, but if you look at some threads here, it actually takes about 11-13 months from App Received to DM/PPR.

EE will be 4-6 months + Draw time and application time

So if jump ship now, you probably ended up getting PPR the same time.

MR is somewhere 8-9 months from App received.

Thank you for the suggestion. I am also in the same boat roaringpanthers, all we can do for now is wait, it is so frustrating when you see people that applied after you, gets assessed at the same VO and they get their ppr like 8 months before you will get yours.

same VO but processed 8 months early? I don't think that's the case.

Most super fast AOR to PPR timeline is from Manila AFAIK. Other outland VOs are also quicker than CIO-Sydney where it has been consistently 9 months from AOR to PPR/DM.

Hi everyone,

I am inland applicant, cic received my application on Novemver 3 last year, then got my FN at begginjng of the Feb 2016, here almost been 6 months waiting ain't no MR. Haven't received nothing but FN, no reminders or RPRF.

Is it common for November inland applicants? Have seen many ppl applied same month but outside Canada, got MR already, who knows how long time gonna wait, this is really testing my tolerance. Cry

I understand your worries.
Inland Medical request are due since mid of June 2015 applications. I am September 2015 applicant and no Reminder email, RPRF, MR yet. So yea it's a long run. So far just AOR/File no

Seems like CIC have already forgotten us. This waiting game is not a joke >:( . Luckily got my OWP last April 08, 2016.

Hope there will be a speedy processing for us. :(

MR is now close to 6-7 months from AOR for inland.

Have a question regarding RCMP PCC for inland applicant, hope someone can shed light on that.

I'm October PR applicant and haven't received the reminder for PCC (of course right :S). But i'm thinking about doing upfront RCMP PCC to save some processing time. But I noticed that the PCC has to be obtained within 3 months of submission, does it mean that I have to do it every 3 months until they started to touch my case?

Thanks anyone in advance!

I am inland and did RCMP criminal record with finger prints check. It took almost 2-3 weeks to get report. Processing time varries according to no# of applications and location of office. Go to nearest RCMP office and ask for criminal record with finger prints check for immigration. They take finger print same day or have to get appointment with RCMP office. Once when they take finger prints computer send information to Ottawa RCMP processing centres and we get report back from our home base RCMP office.

All inland applicants has to submit this at some time of the PR application. Few submit upfront along with application and for those who didn't submit it will get a PCC request email.

Best of my memory RCMP PCC is valid for 6 months.
Usually CiC request updated schedule A at some time of the application. And they may ask for updated PCC from all applicable countries with regards to your updated schedule A. If they notice we have travelled after the previous PCC issue date they may ask updated PCC.

Cic says any country that you lived more than 6 months or more after you turned 18 years old. So if u r inland with more than 6 months in Canada, I guess you should.
