Hi All, I have a question on Bridging Open Work Permit.

I applied under PNP paper method to Sydney NS - the CIO as inland applicant (living in Alberta). and I have both Email and Mailing address on my application.

I recently received the email saying my application is accepted, however two weeks later I still don't see a letter in the mail as the official AOR. Is AOR email only? Should I be receiving a Paper AOR letter from CIC as well?

Reason I am checking is because I am ready to apply for a Bridging Open Work Permit (current Post-grad Work Permit expires in 3.5month), but I am not sure if I can attach the email AOR as proof of my PR application. Or do I have to wait for a paper AOR?

Hi there

The confirmation on email is your AOR as long as they have mentioned your Application No. some E.... and Client ID

Secondly, you can apply your bridge extension without AOR as well on the basis of Nomination Certificate 30 days before the expiry of the permit. In current scenario it will take 4 months or even more ......most of the people are on implied status including my self.

Ask DSL to give you tracking number, put that in the loomisexpress.com, because DHL have no service in NS, they use loomisexpress.com as their partner.

DHL always contract their parcels out to a local courier company called loomisexpress after it has gotten to Ontario. Call their customer service and ask them to give u a proof of delivery from loomis... It is ur right!

My advice is to always use UPS Courier Services, they have a office in NS.

Could you please kindly advise how did you apply for the bridge extension work permit. My wp will expire in May 2016. My Provincial Nominee letter has just expired after I sent the PR application to CIC. I'm still waiting for AOR and hopefully they will send AOR to me within this month.

Some august applicants got tgeir aor late December.
So they are taking a bit longer as it seems for many.
Just be patient and wait. It is all you can do at the moment

Hello anxit, I also sent my CIC app via DHL last Sunday (Mid East) and today the update I got was the same as yours. It has been endorsed on to Loomis Express.

So since Oct you didn't receive any update on your app?

What was the mode of payment you used?

Did you already send an email to CIC regarding this?

I did not get any update for my app since October.
I send Bank draft with application and i also did not send any email to CIC.
I wonder I can contact with CIC regarding application. DHL customer service is very disappointing.
